Wow what a month!

July has been a busy month for the team so lets see if I can sum things up as we go into August.

Ad Coop

This months Ad Coop is set to rock and roll. Those who were lucky enough to get in will start seeing traffic from today. I fully expect our team to grow even faster with this in place. Make sure you feedback your successes so we can share with the team

True leadership is assumed not given. John Bonnett, one of our soon to be Director’s in the UK, showed that this weekend by hosting a super team BBQ. Ever the great networker John managed to combine team bonding, training and also prospecting mixed in with some fabulous food. All I can say is much kudos to both John and Linda!

Exciting training call for international Team members

As many of you know I have been banging the drum for some training calls that are suitable for all time zones, not just the UK and US. Well I am glad to say that it looks like we are getting someone now! Chris & Julie Chojnowski are looking to set up an exclusive team training call that should suit nearly all time zones that we are currently active in. What Do I DO If My Sponsor Sucks?

Great question right?

I'm sure you've dealt with this situation if you've had
any sort of tenure as a network marketer.

I mean you do all the research, you find a business
that you think is a perfect fit for you, you do the
research to find a great sponsor, and then when you
think everything is matched up perfectly your jump in.

What happens?

You get in and then you get very little support from
your upline!

You don't know what to do or where turn and you start
to feel like you're in this thing all alone.

Well I'm going to tell you something that I'm guessing
you've never heard before!

You're lucky!!!!

Why?

Well as someone that was in a network marketing company
with a great sponsor and in a network marketing company
with virtually no sponsor I've seen things from both
sides.

So let me explain why you're lucky. . .

When I started with network marketing I was sure to dot
all my eyes and cross all my tees.

First off . . .

It's been less than 24 hours and we have already had 11
shares reserved at my last count and it always makes me
happy to see that many of the shares reserved were reserved

Some REAL Results In Internet Network Marketing . . .

The biggest problem I have with a lot of the stuff that
I see people selling to others online is that I
sometimes wonder if they are actually using the
information that they are peddling or if they are just
unloading it on the public.

If there is one thing that I will consistently be is
the biggest testimonial that Internet MLM Success works
and continues to work, so I want to share with you the
complete results of an advertising campaign that I
carried out recently in my OWN current Internet network
marketing efforts.

A few months ago I placed an ad online.

It was costly at $695.

It took about a month for the ad to run, but here are

The ad brought in 2818 unique views at a cost of $.25
cent per click (not so bad) . . .

The Duality Of Internet Network Marketing

It's a beautiful morning here in Washington DC. I woke
up and went out side and just sat there for a few
minutes to listen. There's a light breeze and just
hearing the rustling of the leaves as gentle wind blows
on them is a powerfully calming feeling.

As I sat there I thought about the Internet and how we
use it. As I watched the leaves blow from one direction
to the next an extremely important principle popped
into my mind. Something I've never thought about
directly, but just as that gentle wind blew the leaves
from direction so does this affect your business, maybe
without you even knowing about it.

This may be one of the most important emails that I
ever send to you. If you can understand what I am about
to say you'll understand the true fabric of both the
Internet and using the Internet to grow your network
marketing business.

Understand this . . .

Just as there are two sides to everything, a ying and
yang to say, so are there two sides to your internet
business and many make the mistake by not taking note
of this.

There are several things that you can do to generate
targeted traffic to your site and for each and every
single one of them there are about 50 guys with
products telling you and me how to do them the best.
That's fine and it's actually a good sign because it
means there truly is more than one way to skin a cat
with any given traffic generation technique, but unless
you realize what you're doing you can put a great deal
of undue stress on yourself.

I don't mean know what you're doing in terms of being
an expert in any of this stuff, I mean a goal, a vision
of what your business is going to look like one year
from now, and then 5 and 10 years from now.

Without this you can easily put yourself in a position
where you're doing far too much for little to no
appreciable result and a mind full of mixed emotions
and fear.

Quite a few of the people that email me fall into this
trap. (It's not their fault, it just happens to us a
people if we're not aware of what's going on in our
mind and let our emotions lead us.)

Their emails go something like this . . .

"John I've been doing xyz and I've generated some
traffic, but no one is buying anything I'm scared,
frustrated, and I think I'm going to quite."

What you think is what generally happens so when I read
these words I can literally see the little spark that
started their business start to flutter out.

Further . . .

Even putting things like this into writing is the wrong
idea because it creates and transmits the wrong mental
vibe for success, and mostly likely will send you on a
downward spiral towards a negative outlook on your
business. And if you're not positive about your
business you're on the way out.

It's reactionary in nature. Entrepreneurs don't react
they create.

And all this happens because most don't really know
what they are doing. They have a vague idea that they
want more money right now and they've found a business
with an opportunity to fulfill that, but they don't
think past it.

This happened to me when I began and it left me open to
self victimization. Anything that promised me money now
I bought

and subsequently failed.

Understand this about the internet . . .

There are things that you can do that are quick fixes
and others that will build a foundation so that your
business continues to grow for years to come.

I chose to do the later, after trying the other way.

The strategies and the mental focus differ
significantly.

If you think I need to set up a PPC campaign so that I
can get people into my business today because I need
money right now then you'll most likely do the
following.

You'll find the quickest and easiest way to put up a
vaguely targeted Google Adwords campaign and just throw
it out there to see what sticks.

Most of the stuff won't. And you'll say I generated
some traffic but nothing is happening.

On the other hand, if you think with a long term
perspective in mind on your business when you approach
your marketing, even with that same exact PPC campaign
you'll do things totally differently.

You'll say I want this campaign to still produce
targeted traffic a year from now and I don't want to
have to keep updating it all the time so let me make
sure when I do my research I do it thoroughly so I
won't have to do it again.

It will take longer to do, but the results are much
much better both in the short and long term.

Do you see what I'm saying here?

It's where you focus you mind in your marketing that
will dictate your results.

Think first of what you want and then create your
internet advertising campaign around that, and what you
want has to be more specific than just some targeted
traffic and some leads and some people in my business
so that I make money now.

Have a real defined end in mind before the game begins.

And don't think this faulty mindset is something that
only happens to us as marketers. It happens to owners
of network marketing companies that go out of business
in just a few short years and those guys launching
product after product just to see what we will buy.

These people also have a frantic "now now now" frame of
mind.

Think about the type of people and companies you are
dealing with just as much as yourself when doing your
marketing.

Stay as far away from those with vaguely defined goals
and visions of what they want no matter if they are
your upline leader, company owner, or the guy you're
thinking about buying an eBook from.

Why?

Well remember how I said I was listening and watching
the leaves blow in the wind?

If you or you follow the advice of a person who only
thinks about right now well then you become just like
those leaves. You leave yourself open to whatever
weather blows you're way.

If you plan and set out only to do those things that
fit your plan you root yourself deep into the ground
like a sturdy oak tree that ain't moving.

This Can Have You Scratching Your Head

It was a late night last night of updating and
improving and in the process of doing that it got me
thinking . . .

An online business, and even more so an internet
network marketing business, can really get you
scratching your head sometimes.

We're conditioned to think in a linear fashion. Do
this and get that result is really how we think.

Work 40 hours a week and get paid for 40 hours of
work. It's how we grew up and for most of us it's
how we were conditioned to think about our results in
life.

When it comes to business this isn't always the case,
and really most of the time it's not the case.

Business is not a linear thing.

Just yesterday I was sitting at my computer
scratching my head.

4 people joined my business directly with me as their
sponsor in the last 2 days. Not something to
complain about, after all I am the king of never
calling a single lead and that's the way things work
most of the time in my business, but this time it was
a little different.

You see during that period I had absolutely no ads
running for my business and still 4 people joined
with me as their sponsor without me having to do a
thing, meanwhile my first year in the business all
I did was prospect and call leads and nothing happened.

Why is it so easy now?

Well, once you have passive traffic coming your way
good things happen and you don't have to do
anything additional actively for those good results.

But this can get people confused. I know it did for
me for a long time. Some days would be great with
little effort and some days would be not so great
with a Herculean effort.

What the heck right?

That's business for you. It's not linear. You set it
up and once you get all the pieces in place
sometimes the results flow like the mighty Amazon and
others well just one lead would keep you going.

This shift stunts most. They still want to think that
their efforts should correlate directly to their
results and when it doesn't it frustrated the heck of
them. The best advice is settle down, know your
conversion figures, and just keep on pushing.

Let me tell you . . .

If you have a great marketing system, you're doing
the right things for generating interest in your
business via your marketing system you're on the
right track despite what the results show.

They will exceed your expectations in the long run.

Think about your business like this. It's more like
having a boat tethered to port by several ropes
than going to the J.O.B.

You may spend a huge effort getting one rope off and
you've made progress, but there is still 8 more
ropes to go and nothings moving.

You've made positive progress and you know it, just
don't let money be the only marker of your success

A Tale Of Two Network Marketers And A Secret . . .

Joe Jones joins a network marketing company and says .

Direct Internet Network Marketing

Today's message is on a topic I rarely see discussed
online, that being how to apply direct marketing
principles to your network marketing business.

To be fair, network marketing itself, does in fact
follow a direct marketing model, but not in the most
efficient way.

It's understandable why, in many highly successful
direct marketing businesses the phone is a key
component to creating results, but you don't see the
owner of the organization on the phone themselves,
rather they hire a phone room to do the dirty work.

When done properly it can be highly effective, but when
done improperly it can alienate your customers and give
them a bad impression of you and your business.

Just yesterday, which was Sunday, I was riding along in
the car with a friend when my phone rang. It turned out
to be a telemarketer who had pulled my name from the
list of customers of someone I had purchased an
information product from trying to solicit a seminar
sale.

I was wholly closed to this because it was Sunday and I
have better things to do than be sold a ticket to a
seminar that I had no interest in.

The phone is a very sensitive media and this should be
understood. Now, instead of looking favourably upon the
person I had purchased from I will forever hold a
negative vision of them because of this call.

So that's how telemarketing can be done wrong.

In network marketing you're taught to do 3 way calls,
which can be effective, but understand when you're
taught to do this without first being taught how to
generate your leads first you're basically being
reduced to a telemarketer.

Understand that the phone if you so choose to use it in
your business is only one piece of the puzzle and all
pieces must be present for optimum success.

It starts with lead generations. Where are you going to
find your prospective recruits? Online there are
several different ways to do this.

Next comes qualifying them. How are you going to get
them to raise their hand and show you that they are
interested in what you have? Are you going to use a
lead capture page or something else to have your leads
qualify themselves?

Next comes communication with your leads. How are you
going to constantly communicate with your leads so that
a trusting relationship is built? Are you going to use
email, teleseminars, personal phone follow up, or are
you going to do them all.

Finally we come to the offer. What are you going to
offer your prospects that they want and how are you
going to have them take action to get it? Will it be a
sales page that you use, direct mail?

In all this you have to understand that all parts of
the system must be congruent with each other. You can't
get traffic from people interested in health and sell
them personal development. It won't work optimally.

Further you can't have your leads opt into a lead
capture page for one thing and then in your email
follow up talk about something completely different.

It's all got to fit together.

And you've got to offer your prospects what they want.
So you have to know what they want. You can't guess at
this, because you don't know until you ask them.

It's like the game show "Family Feud" you don't get
points for giving the BEST answer you win by giving the
answer that most people polled said.

It's not about you, it's about them.

All these things must be in harmony for you to leverage
a direct marketing approach to network marketing most
effectively, it's not just getting some leads from a
leads company and calling them.

If you just do this you'll miss out on truly leveraging
what direct marketing should be for your network
marketing business, especially when we talk about the
Internet.

Don't Get Caught In This Trap

I received an email a few days ago from a former member
of my organization asking if I was still a member of my
current company to which I replied "But of course!"

I asked him to tell me a little bit about why he left
and why he wanted to return so that I could figure out
a proper sponsor for him.

His reply email resembled what I think happens to many.
He went of and tried other internet marketing business
models with some success, but not to the level that he
had envisioned and he realized that the income he was
creating was not as leveraged as that which network
marketing provides and so . . . he's back searching.

Some of the details I've left out, but a story with
lots of twists and turns, hard work and small rewards
all leading back to one path - network marketing.

In his reply email he said "Now that I've revealed my
story to you, GIVE me someone to work with so that I
can decide if I want to return."

To this I have not responded yet and the reason is
this, I'm not convinced that this particular person is
really looking to rejoin for the right reasons or if
he's just looking for something that can produce an
income.

It's dangerous to begin an association with any
business solely for money, it rarely works out.

For network marketing to work for you, you must have a
connection to your company and it's products that is
BIGGER than how much money you can make or you'll lack
the focus needed for true breakthrough success.

Make sure you see more than just dollar signs when you
look at your business if you want it to work. True
excitement and enthusiasm should be present when
marrying yourself to an opportunity.

Sometimes this is apparent from the outside and
sometimes it grows on you, but if you're in a business
for an extended period of time and the only thing you
can talk to prospects about is how much money they can
make you're in the wrong place.

Dr. Phil Doesn't Call Leads . . . .

No he doesn't does he?

I'd laugh if I ever turned on the TV and stumbled
across a day time talk show where the host was
sitting there on the phone trying to coax people into
being a guest of their show using hard sell cold
call techniques.

But why?

Is Dr. Phil the best psychologist around?

I'm sure if you asked other psychologist they would
roll their eyes at you and go into 20-minute
discussion about why he's a hack.

Well if he's not the best then why do people line up
to be guests on his show?

The answer is simple. It's Marketing . . .

He has a show that allows him to access the entire
world each and every single weekday.

Massive exposure is his game.

All he has to do is at the end of one of his shows
flash a 20 second message about the type of person
he'd like to have on his show in the future along
with a number for those people to call in for more
details and the phone lines light up.

Getting people to call you is drop dead easy when you
have exposure and that's the secret. Get your
offer in front of as many people as you can and odds
are some of them are going to be interested in
it.

And you don't even have to be the best or have the
best product. If you can learn the game of massive
exposure you can be second best and still win way
more than the best.

So as a network marketer your first job is to get
your offer in front of as many people as you can and
you win.

Important to note though . . .

Although Dr. Phil is NOT the best psychologist going,
because of his exposure he DOES do more good for
the world overall than even the best psychologists.
His messages reach millions where a psychologist
with less exposure, his or her, message only reaches
as many people as he can see in a day.

You do more good in the world if you master the art
of marketing but you're only an ok network
marketer than you do if you're the best network
marketer out there working the phone lines or
approaching people one on one.

Make $2,000 to $6,000 Per Day From Home! - Not MLM

I do a lot of surfing around the net to see what types
of home businesses there are out there and a
surprisingly large number of them all have the same
hook, that being the one that I mentioned in the
subject for this email.

Now I have no problem with home businesses or the life
changing effects that they can have on a person's life,
I'd be a hypocrite if I did, but I do get a little
upset from time and time when I see right there in the
headline NOT M'LM as if network marketing was something
negative.

To be honest, when I see home businesses marketed in
such a way I really see them as sort of sneaky and not
the type of business that I would want to be associated
with. The reason is, I think it's underhanded to say
that a business is not network marketing when, in
essence, it truly is.

They are network-marketing companies; they just have a
different compensation structure.

It's mostly the one up programs that make these claims
as if it's above network marketing, but tell me . . .

If the business involves generating leads for a
particular opportunity then making contact with them in
order to sell them that particular opportunity be it
online, offline, or via the phone how is this any
different from network marketing?

Isn't that in general what network marketers do?

The only difference is you only obtain a commission on
one level, but you still have to DO the exact same
things a network marketer does, i.e. recruit and train
recruits to do the same.

The only difference is leverage, which network
marketing has in more abundance than a 1 up or 2 up
program. I would rather train a team and depend on them
then one or two people who could flip flop.

There are arguments to be made on both sides when it
comes to income potential, but when it comes to day to
day interactions they are in fact the same.

It's like the pot calling the kettle black and I just
find it to be dishonest.

To make the point clear, I've had both network
marketers and marketers of these 1 up deals market to
me personally over the phone and their ain't no
difference in what they say except one say it's not
network marketing.

Silly to me

Both involve personal marketing and sales to promote a
specific opportunity where you get paid on both your
efforts and the efforts of those who you bring into the
business yet one claims not to be network marketing, so
I ask you . . .

Isn't it?

As if network marketing was something negative. I know
of no other way that a person can personally empower
themselves to do great things and live the life they
deserve and desire, what's the downside to that?

Just a rant, but it's always important to analyze what
you're being sold and why it's being sold in such a way
i.e. the angle. You find nobility and honesty in some
via this analysis and lies and dishonest in others and
it's not worth working with liars to make a buck in my
book.

Putting It All Together?

This took me some time to really really understand the
value of this. It's one of those things that can take
your from being an average marketer online to an
advanced one.

Your business is like a big jigsaw puzzle. Each new
thing you learn or do is a new piece of the puzzle that
you're filling in. But the bigger picture is this, when
you begin you start out with no pieces and you don't
even know what the final picture is going to look like.

Each piece of the puzzle you create let's you know a
little bit more about what the entire picture really
looks like and leads you in the direction of finding
and creating the next piece.

Vague idea I know, but here's an example what this
means:

If you use article marketing as a marketing strategy in
your business you'll soon see that some of your
articles get more traffic than others. That's important
and you should take note of it because this will give
you a quantifiable direction to go next.

If you have an article that's doing exceedingly well
then you need to ask yourself the question "Why?"

Is it because of the keywords I used?

Is it because of the topic of the article?

Once you figure that out you know where to go next.

This was a major leap for me personally. If it works in
one area it will work in others.

First you write more articles and create more content
around that particularly well performing article and
then you go out and you do a PPC campaign around the
keywords used in the article.

Maybe you even find a new headline for a lead capture
page to test or a Google adword campaign. Etc.

What works in one area will work in ALL areas. Be sure
to pay close attention to this and leverage in your
marketing scheme.

Our example was article marketing, but you can pull
vitally important information from anything you do and
use it to grow your marketing campaign in different
areas and media as long you know the importance of
asking yourself why a particular thing you're doing is
going so well and then ask what yourself what you can
do to leverage that success into another area.

Zero Resistance Recruiting

It took me some time to learn this, but in all you do
in your prospecting efforts there is a much
better way than following a cold calling script and
putting undue pressure on both yourself and your
prospect for the close and it's much easier than you
think.

Once I really understood the power of doing this one
thing my business took off.

Here it is.

Instead of going for the hard sell, BE what your
prospects are looking for.

Very subtle what I just said, but more powerful than
you can imagine.

Instead of reading a script and getting nervous about
whether or not you're going to close that
particular lead into your business shoot right on
past it. Start training them from the outset.

What are you as a sponsor?

A coach that is going to help your prospect get to
where they want to go faster and easier than if
they tried on their own, so my philosophy is this . . .

Start teaching and training your would be recruit
BEFORE they are a recruit and just watch what
happens.

They won't know what's happening, but you'll be
attracting them towards like a magnet INSTEAD of
forcing them into your business with all your might
with the hard sell.

Speak to your prospect about what you do, give them
advice, steer them in the right direction WHILE
they are still prospects and watch how naturally most
will want to BE a part of whatever it is you're
doing.

The Unstoppable MLM Juggernaut

If you don't know anything about comic books,
Juggernaut is a character in Marvel Comic's X-Men and
he's basically invincible.

Once he get's moving there's nothing that can stop him.

He's a giant imposing character and basically anything
he wants he gets. I like that idea!

As a kid whenever he was a character in one the comic
episodes on TV I felt drawn to this character and even
more so today as I help pave the way to success for
network marketers online.

I'd like to think I'm a little like him.

Any problem that get's in my way I find a way to bust
through it and really that's all there is to success in
business and in your network marketing.

What I mean is, as a network marketer you have problems
that you are faced with the second you start your
business.

-How to find people interested in your business

-How to present your business in a way that get's
people excited to jump on your bandwagon

-How to make it easy for others to do the same

And well . . .

If you can solve these problems you become something of
a network marketing Juggernaut yourself.

So I have a little bit of homework for you today . . .

Sit down and write out ever problem that you are having
in your business.

Set the piece of paper aside until tomorrow and then
come back and think of creative ways to solve those
unique problems you're faced with in your business.

Then next week set an action plan to implement your
solutions to your problems.

Then don't stop until each problem is solved.

What's going to happen when you do this?

Invariably you'll uncover more problems to overcome in
your business.

You'll take ownership of your business.

You'll take the first steps to becoming an entrepreneur
for your own situation.

An entrepreneur is nothing more than a person who
solves problem for a profit.

So in your brainstorming think of ways to profit in
your business every step of the way.

Do these things right and you'll be a Juggernaut in
your own right with hordes of folks chasing you down to

An Unexpected Rant . . .

There I was this morning, knuckles cracked and ready to
send out the final instalment in my series on Carlos
and Lupe Garcia's "Traffic Tactics" seminar when there
it was.

One of the most one-sided emails I've ever seen on the
topic of network marketing from one of my mentors none
the less. I was in complete shock.

The last instalment for Traffic Tactics is going to
have to wait until after this . . .

The email was from a true veteran in the network
marketing arena, I guy who's been through it all and
seen it all, and a guy I look to for advice.

I did a double take, but there the message was clear as
day. He was bashing what he called "Network Marketing"
gurus for teaching people the skills of self-branding
and independent lead generation.

He said 99% of network marketers don't care or want to
know how to either brand themselves in their business
or learn the skill of lead generation and further he
said they didn't have the mental capacity to do it.

I shook my head.

What a defeatist and pessimistic point of view.

None the less from a guy sending out an email to a list
of subscribers he had created through personal lead
generation and self-branding.

Reducing his subscribers to the level of mindless
drones to be feed a simple job and told to do it
without independent thought or innovation.

If that's the version of network marketing that really
exists in the world we're in for some tough times, but
that's not what I believe.

I believe that the network marketing industry is filled
with highly motivated and innovative individuals that
don't want to be fed a job to do without personal
thought or insight.

I believe network marketing is an industry where true
leaders rise through from circumstances that they never
thought they would overcome to do great things and live
a great lifestyle for it.

It's an industry where leaders create themselves and
get their just rewards. It's the fairest industry on
the planet.


I can think of no other place or circumstance where an
individual with a few hundred dollars and a HUGE dream
can become a millionaire within a few short years.

I think that you have that future waiting for you. I
don't think you are one of the 99% that he was talking
about as hopeless and to be simply told what to do
because that's all your mind can handle.

How do I know?

Because I started from nothing, and if I can do it so
can do you, but not if I limit you with my expectations
- I believe in limitless possibilities for you even if
you don't.

Why?

Because there was a time when I was told that one day I
would have a huge downline when I didn't think it would
be possible, it was a glimmer of hope I held on too and
now to this day I remember that statement and gain
strength from it, so I say it to you.

I believe and I can see the day when money no longer
enters the equation in anything you do and you'll have
a thriving organization that grows without effort.

I believe there will be a day when you look back and
you'll say . . . "How did I get so lucky? Do I really
deserve all this?"

And the answer is . . . Yes you do!

Network Marketer's Always Talk About Leverage But . . .

It seems we as network marketers really fall into 3
groups, those that get it, those that think they got
it, and those that are clueless.

And well, it's about those that think they got it that
I want to talk to you about today.

Have you ever noticed that whenever you speak to a
network marketer about what they're doing they like to
use big words like leverage and time freedom and all
that good stuff?

Well, I sat back and really thought about these
concepts and it occurred to me that most network
marketers miss the forest for the trees when they use
these terms.

In my first round in the industry I heard all these big
words and ideas and was in ahh. I wanted them. So
naturally I asked . . .

Beware the j.o.b. and it's not what you think . . .

This is NOT another message about what makes network
marketing so great. It's not about how the everyday
average ex bike courier with asthma can start a
business before going to work and a few years later be
financial independent due to network marketing and the
Internet.

You already know that. This message is about something
much more subtle and it's probably at work negatively
effecting your business right now and you don't even
know it.

It's this . . .

Most network marketers tend to take the j.o.b.
mentality to their business and it kills everything
dead.

You have a split second of thinking like an
entrepreneur, just long enough to join, and then you
slip back into the job comfort zone. You look for
someone to GIVE you a task to do that they say will
grow your business.

Dangerous at the least, but more than that it's lazy.

In the job you get paid for hours worked and so you
tend to log the amount of time you put into your
business correlating it to the amount you should be
earning which is wrong.

This is a lazy and a weak path of thinking when it
comes to your business because it's not about hours
logged it's about how effectively you use the time you
do work.

Why should you work 10 hours when 1 get's the job done?

To be busy for the sake of being busy is an old hold
over habit from the job. You can quickly fool yourself
into thinking you're getting somewhere in your business
by looking at the hours logged, when really you're
doing nothing but busy work for the sake of doing busy
work.

Not lazy in the sense of action, but lazy in the mind
is what I'm talking about here. To do things just to do
them because they make you FEEL like you're getting
somewhere is not going to get you anywhere.

I promise. I tried.

Businesses don't work like this, but before I labour
that point I want to tell you a misconception I had
about network marketing that I've never seen anyone
speak to or about.

A change in perspective that is priceless if
understood.

Most get into network marketing for the dream of money
and time freedom. They hold, and I held this belief as
well, that at some point they can just quit and retire.

That's why they got into the business anyways right?

Wrong!

Again another hold over mental habit from the job . . .

Retiring is a work related concept that is built on the
idea that you're spend most of your time doing
something you don't want to be doing and if you just
save up enough you'll be able to free yourself from
that boring and uninteresting existence.

Well, if you carry this idea over to your network
marketing business, and I did for a while, you start to
think about your network marketing business like a job
in the deepest sense.

Sure there are tasks to be done, but it ain't a job for
sure.

What's wrong with carrying this into your network
marketing business is that in holding this notion the
very essence of what your doing in your business is
aimed at trying to get OUT of the business eventually
because it's NOT what you want to be doing.

Do you both see how subtle and how destructive this can
be for you and the long-term survival of your business?

You thinking in a framework of going from a job you
don't want and want freedom from to a business you
don't necessarily want and want freedom from is not
solving the problem.

You're always trying to escape your current situation.

That's not where success lives. It lives in the place
where you love what you do and don't count down the
days until you can quit. It lives in the place where
you're your moving towards the thing you do, not
constantly trying to escape it.

This took me a while to see in myself and maybe it's a
thought enough for pause in you.

Do you see yourself in your business 10 years from now,
loving every minute of it because it doesn't hold you
back it breaths life into your days instead of taking
your breath away?

I do.

Why? My business takes very little active time, I can
go away for a while and relax, the money keeps flowing
regardless and every action I take in my business is
doing something I love to do and brings results without
limits (except my own of course).

Pull yourself away from doing drudging work and put
yourself into a situation where you love sitting right
in the thick of it and that my friend is where you will
find your greatest success, not only in business, but
in life.

me to sit in such a position, a position where money,
leads, and recruits flow in abundance, a position
filled with exciting, unlimited, and fun possibilities

Huge breakthrough

They are extremely rare and only happen in the most
random of times, but when you focus on what it is you
do and your largest objectives in your business -
continually, they happen.

Usually after helping another person is when it hits.
You remove yourself from your own current situation
long enough to allow your subconscious to go to work on
it's own & that's when it hits you.

After having a brief discussion with the office manager
of a doctor's office on Friday one of these
breakthroughs occurred for me in my business and later
that night more insight into the situation came.

This method is not my own, but profound, it actually
comes from Brian Tracy, in his audio book "Goals".

Each day when you arise right down your five largest
goals and then during that day do whatever that day
prescribes for you to move closer to that goal.

You'll hit roadblocks that you won't find an easy or
immediate answer for, don't worry, and persist forward
with the simplest and most straightforward path to that
end.

For me, I was thinking about the task of copy writing,
how I could I get it done quicker?

I thought about all the things I could do, but my
biggest hurdle was actually getting the darn thing
written, and that's when it hit.

Why write?

Just speak your sales letter and have it transcribed.
Edit it later. The words will flow naturally if you
speak them and the task will take less than half the
amount of time it takes to write.

Later that night I had created 3 new sales letters.

My mental obstacle was all the writing required. My
conscious mind focused on the task of putting words to
paper, but then it hit me.

"Who say's you gotta write the darn thing?"

You don't!

It's natural to think down the roads that others lead
you, and to think many of the tasks of your business
take more effort than they actually do, but when you
give your mind time to do it's magic - novel and more
productive solutions will appear without warning.

Learning from others gets you to a point of
proficiency, but pushing past that into new realms
never taught only comes through insight and focus on
your ends.

Take some time today to write down your goals. Those
that seem laborious will soon reveal themselves as
simpler and easier than you ever imagined when you let
your mind go to work and your finally have that major
breakthrough.

A full time income part time

One of the best things about network marketing is that
you can generate a full time income on a part time
basis just doing the right things and having the right
systems in place to help you along. But, to be honest
it's not for everyone.

I was at the doctor's office yesterday and was speaking
with the office manager who is a very nice lady, but
definitely a talker.

Usually I try to keep it short with her because I know
if I egg her on too long she'll tell me everything
that's happened in the last 3 months since my last
visit and not miss a beat.

I'm sure you know people like this, nothing wrong with
it, just some people were born to talk.

We'll I was switching physicians because of locations
and decided to hang out a little bit. She said "I just
got a new job offer!" I replied "Congrats!"

I asked here a little about what it was all about and
decided to let her in on my little secret. I generally
don't go around telling people what I do, but yesterday
was the exception.

I told her all about my recent adventures in Singapore
and what had transpired over the last couple of years
and tried to end with the idea that you can literally
create any life you desire if you have faith enough in
it and you persist.

You could tell by the way she paused that I had opened
a door in her mind and she was starting to ask herself
"What if", but here is what came out of her mouth and
here is why network marketing, no matter how grand,
just isn't for everyone.

She had a twinkle in here eye for a second and then . .
.out came all the excuses as to why she couldn't.

She told me previously that she dreamed of owning her
own home after her divorce some years ago, but felt it
was completely impossible with her being a single
mother with two kids and living pay check to pay check.

I said through your own business you'd have complete
control of your life, you'd never have to fear being
fired if your boss is having a bad day and that dream
of having a house wouldn't be a dream any longer.

I was too much for her. Her mind would not accept the

If You Don't Have Control You Don't Have A Business

You know what I learned?

Buying leads was the worst thing that I ever could have
done for my business.

Why?

You hand over control to someone else.

The second you do that your business is standing on
shaky grounds. Why? You are dependent on them for
everything. If they don't send you leads you don't have
a business.

You get addicted.

Your lead provider becomes the centre of your business.

The most risky business model in the world in a one
dimensional one, and when you buy leads that exactly
what you have. I wonder why my sponsor didn't tell me
that?

Well I know why?

He made a commission on it, so no matter happened to me

do, and hence duplicate from an action point of view

I was speaking with one of my counterparts last night
and to be honest he was steaming mad about how
someone he knew had stolen his idea and profited from
it.

His immediate reaction was just that - a reaction to
compete on the same playing field and beat this
guy to the punch.

I made the suggestion that instead of trying to outdo
this guy, let's be creative and create an
entirely new solution and I laid out the plan and I
could tell he was more than excited.

There is work to be done for sure, but it's a much
better solution than competition.

In your network marketing business never worry about
what the next guy is doing, get out there full of
steam and a heart full of passion and do YOUR thing
and do it bigger and better than you ever thought
possible.

Forget about them and what they do, just do what you
do and do to the best of your abilities.

I know is may sound cryptic in terms of how to apply
this to your network marketing business, but
listen . . .

If you love your business, if you see that there is
only success for you and everyone that you expose
to that business, there is only one path of action
and that's getting to work.

There are NO hurdles to big for you. You'll always
find a way over under or just plain out busting
through them if you start walking your path with a
heart full of passion.

Don't let anyone tell you can't or list a thousand
reasons why it won't work and listen to them.

Understand that's why it won't work for them NOT you.
You're a winner. You get what you want out of
life because you give life all that you got and the
only thing life can return naturally is your
desired end.

Believe this deep in heart and there ain't no
stopping you.

Don't think how you can be better, think rather about
what you're going to create in your business and
how and leave the competition out of the picture -
you'll end up leaving them in the dust.

When there is no resistance in you for achieving your
desires the only thing you can do is get them.

The first step is both invaluable and priceless -
it's acquiring the knowledge that will get you
results faster than anything else. The less
resistance you have internally to taking the steps to
learn what must be learned to get done what you want
done to fulfil your dreams the faster you'll get

What Would You Do If . . .

Just getting up this morning and reading through a
couple books I have in my library on network
marketing. I found a passage that I had bookmarked
but forgotten about for some time.

For a long time this passage got me through all the
tough times, so I want to share it here today . .
.

The passage goes:

What if you knew that your success is network
marketing was guaranteed. That without a doubt there
would be no chance of you not achieving greatness in
your business.

Five years from now you would have no more worries
about money, your time would be yours and you would
be living the lifestyle of your dreams?

But to get there you had to go through a bankruptcy,
your downline would disintegrate in front of your
eyes three times, and your spouse would leave for a
time due to the stress of the situation.

Would you still go through it?

I remember reading this passage verbatim during the
time period when I was failing way more than I was
succeeding and identifying greatly with it.

I never went through a bankruptcy, but I did build up
a pile of debt and my significant other at the
time did leave.

I still pushed forward because it was that important
to me.

I accepted this because I knew I what I was going
through was for the greater good and that all bad
situations, like a cut on the knee, are temporary.

Fast-forward to today, and all the tough situations
were well worth it.

Don't expect the road to success to be sunny and
mild, there will be a few showers and cold nights
along the way.

But I can guarantee you that it's worth it if your
goal is worth it to you.

Is This Free Traffic Tip Worth $197?

Today I've got an amazing free traffic tip that
literally can increase the amount of free traffic you
get 3 fold.

If you were to go to Border's Books or any local books
store or magazine stand and look for the most recent
issue of "Opportunity World" magazine you would see a
full page spread on Power Prospecting system.

It's not an ad it's simply and article that describes
how the system was started and what it's all about.

I had never been featured in an offline business
magazine until this month so it's an honour to know
that our little system is featured across the nation
because of its success.

Well I thought I would try a little experiment since I
was going to be featured in a magazine anyways.

I added a simple link for more free information to that
ad, and since have been literally floored with the
result.

Of the people that go to the website after reading the
article a full 41% of them decide to subscribe.

That's much better than just about any online
conversion, but it got me thinking . . .

What if I applied this to free traffic generation

Article marketing is a marketing method discussed at

Instead of writing full articles, limit the length the
400 words or less so that they can be read quickly, and
don't give the full story.

Instead of concluding the article say "for the rest of
the story see the resource box"

This will force your readers to follow your resource
box link for closure and send your traffic through the
roof.

Doing these two simple things tripled my click through
rate via article marketing, and I'm sure if you give it
