Do You Want To Decrease Expenses Or Increase Revenue?

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

This morning I was talking to a prospect that had
emailed me inquiring about joining my organization.

I always ask . . .

"Why do you want to get into business anyways?"

And most of the time I get . . .

To pay off my debt or reduce my bills.

This is a good answer, but . . .

I typically get the feeling that when most give this
answer they are thinking on a short-term time line.

Like by next month they want to have all their bills
covered by the cost of their business.

So I typically tread lightly on this issue for the
following reason.

It's the wrong reason to start a business, especially a
network marketing business.

The big dream is money and time freedom and it's 100%
possible, but highly improbable in the short term.

It takes time.

Starting any business no matter how small your budget
is going to cost money in some way shape or form.

There are things you can do to get started with very
low capital, but the chances of paying off your debt in
the short term is not very high.

A business is started to increase revenue over the long
haul, not decrease debt.

Imagine going into a loan office to apply for a loan to
buy a small multi unit apartment building and having
them ask you why you want the loan.

And you answer "To decrease my debt."

They're going to look at you cross-eyed and not give
you a loan.

Why?

Well the very act of buying that building increases
your debt load substantially.

You're going in the wrong direction.

If you want to decrease your debt do it by decreasing
your expenses not taking on a business.

Decreasing debt is a defensive game.

Cutting cost, not eating out, etc.

It's a reductive process.

Starting a business is an offensive game.

Creating opportunity, capitalizing on it, and gaining
financial reward for it.

A building process.

Over the long haul in a business you can easily
generate enough revenue to cover whatever was your
previous debt load, but it's by creating financial
opportunity, not spending less.

I think many new networks look at getting started in a
network marketing business as a quick fix to their
current financial situation. This is by far the worst
mindset in the world to start a business.

Because from the outset your mind is focused on
reducing your bills today when, in fact, it should be
focused on creating massive financial opportunity.

Treat paying your bills off now and your network
marketing business as two completely separate issues as
they really are.

One financially defensive and one financially
offensive.

Or you could very well start a network marketing
business for the wrong reason and quit it for the wrong
reason.

Use your network marketing business to give you the
life you deserve over the span of many many years, but
don't try to use it to pay off your bills next month.

It's just not the right tool for that.

It Only Takes One

It only takes one.

I remember back to when I was calling lead after lead
looking for "THE ONE" the one that would finally sing
up into my downline and prove to me that this network
marketing thing works.

Month after month. $500 lead batch after lead batch.
Call after call. I was just looking for one.

That one never came . . .

But all the hard times were more than worth it. When I
finally got a good plan based one how I wanted to run
my business it finally happened.

A little online traffic and a few leads and up popped
that first person in my downline.

A rush of energy swelled inside me.

IT WORKED!

And I knew then as well as I know it now, it was game
over.

But it wouldn't have been the same without the months
of failure. If that one had come too easy I wouldn't
have seen the opportunity behind what that ONE meant. I
would have slacked I would have gotten lazy.

But it didn't happen that way.

That ONE came at the right time and I knew where there
was one there were more.

Now almost 5700 more.

All MY way. All without buying or calling a lead.

It only takes the ONE to spark greatness in you.

If it hasn't happened it will and ohh how sweet it will
be.

If you ready to learn how to get that first one and
then many many more leveraging both the amazing power
of the internet to grow your business across the globe
and the knowledge and experience of someone who's been
there and done that and is still doing that. It's game
one and I'm ready to play! Are you?

How Many Fingers Am I Holding Up?

I was flipping through the channels on my TV a few
nights ago and happened across a movie called "Patch
Adams". I didn't watch the entire movie, but I did
watch one snippet.

The main character admitted himself to a mental
hospital for fear he may commit suicide and as he
entered the main lounge he looked around the room to
see many not so sane people off in their own worlds.

One man came up to him and said "How many fingers am I
holding up?" He was holding up four fingers and so the
main character answered four. The man called the main
character dumb and went off raving.

Later it was made known that the person who had asked
the main character that simple question was once a
genius scientist and mathematician who had pushed his
genius a little too far ending up well . . . In a
mental institute.

Patch, the main character, a few scenes later ended up
in the once genius scientist's room and was asked the
same question again to which Patch answered the same.

The scientist said "No, you're looking at the wrong
things, look past the immediate problem and then
answer. No new novel solution can be gained from only
focusing on the problem."

Patch did this and answered 8, as he looked past the
man's hand.

The scientist smiled and said "Yes! Now you see!"

It was late at night when I first saw this and I didn't
really pay much attention to it, but just this morning
for a reason I can't quite describe I replayed that
scene in my mind.

And it hit me just how profound what that "crazy" man
had said in the movie.

Look past the immediate problem and that's where you'll
find the answers that others don't see.

Many of us begin a network marketing business with only
the immediate problem in mind.

"I need money, I'm not getting my bills paid and I need
a way out. How can I solve this?"

At least that's the path that brought me to network
marketing . . .

And at the beginning I focused on this, my problem, and
made no headway.

It wasn't until I looked past my problem that I found a
novel solution that wasn't so explored and in that is
where I found real growth and success.

If you focus on your problems what happens is your mind
answers with explanations for why that problem exists.

"Why don't I have any money in my savings?"

Answer:

"I can barely pay my bills with what I make, so I can't
save."

It's an answer but it doesn't get you anywhere. It just
explains the problem.

Better question . . .

"How can I solve the problems of those who have the
same issues I have?"

Answer:

"What are my problems? How do I solve those? How do I
make those solutions something that will benefit
others?"

You'll see in the second instance when you look past
your immediate issues you're mind won't find an
immediate answer, but it will lead you to the questions
that will.

That's where growth occurs, that's where your REAL
solution lies, if you follow that path.

Look past what's right in front of you and an entirely
new realm of solutions will open up.

Solutions you would never have seen had you only
focused right on the issue at hand.

What if you could learn how to grow your network
marketing business without picking up the phone,
without buying leads, without spending massive amounts
of money, and actually generate a revenue starting
today, learn a system that will duplicate what's
effective today? What if . . .
==> http://www.opportunity-waits.com

Massive Duplication

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

Last night I was doing a training call and got asked a
typical question, although it does not directly address
the question of duplication the answer does in a big
way.

Here's the question . . .

"Do I need to create my own system, my own lead capture
page, my own website to be successful in my business?"

We were discussing targeted traffic generation in the
training call and this participant wanted to know if he
needed to create his own system to create success.

Extremely important point when it comes to massive
duplication in your business.

You must ALWAYS be weary of what you do above and
beyond what your particular business provides in the
way of a marketing system when thinking of how your
business will grow.

Duplication occurs when you do something successfully
and then transfer that knowledge and success down the
line.

If you are creating huge success in your own business
personally on the recruiting front but you've created
your own lead capture page and your own website etc.
you are to be congratulated for your success, but know
this . . .

The more steps and the more complicated your personally
success system is the LESS duplicable it will be.

Why?

The more you have to teach from a technical standpoint
the less likely that knowledge will be passed down the
line to levels two and three correctly.

Remember that game you played as a kid where you
whispered a sentence in the ear of the person standing
next to you, and they in turn passed that message to
the person next to them, all the way down the line to
the last kid?

When that last kid got the message it sounded nothing
like the original message you started out with.

Now if you had only said one word and passed it down
the line, it's much more probably that the last person
to here it would get it right at the end of the line
simply because it was a simpler message to transfer.

Think about duplication in your business like that.

You may be able to pull of some fancy stuff yourself
and you may be good at teaching that stuff to your
immediate recruits, but don't expect them to be able to
do the same.

The simpler the system the more duplicable it will be.

That's one reason most upline sponsors teach their
recruits to go buy leads and call them, it's easy to do
and easy to teach.

Doesn't mean it's highly effective for all, but on the
duplication front it is duplicable from an application
standpoint.

You want to keep as much of your company's base
marketing system intact as possible when creating your
success because you always have to remember that in
order for your organization to grow they MUST be able
to do what you just did.

The fewer steps involved in your personal recruiting
system the more powerful it is in the long run.

Never lose sight of this.

Green With Opportunity

A man walks into a typical commercial office building
and looks around. He sees a receptionist at the
desk who asks him to sign in before getting on the
elevator.

He looks around and sees the normal hustle bustle of
the typical business day that it is. He sees
people standing around probably on a break just
chatting. He sees a man with a mop cleaning the floor.
He looks around and sees a water fountain spewing a
relaxing trickle of water surround by a nice plant
arrangement. Nothing out of the ordinary . . .

He carries on with his appointment in the building
and on the way about an hour later looks closer at
the vegetation surrounding the fountain and realizes
that some of the plants don't look as health as
they could. He thinks to himself "Hmm almost a
perfect arrangement."

He walks out the door, but stops mid steps and heads
back in, being the plant lover that he is, and
decides to ask the receptionist at the desk who was
taking care of the plants in the building.

She didn't know, but feeling conviction to his
curiosity he decides to investigate further.

Finding his way to the management office he asks the
building manager the same question he had asked
the receptionist, she said I think the maintenance
people take care of that, but I'm not sure.

He asks her further . . .

"Do you have office plant specialist to ensure the
proper care of your onsite plants?"

She replies no and that she didn't even know that
such a position existed.

He replies that he's actually quite fond of plants
and has been so for some time. He makes a few
suggestions about how the vegetation arrangement can
be approved.

The office manager is floored.

30 minutes later he walks out as the office plant
specialist. He's paid $120 a month to take care of
all lobby plants.

Fast-forward a year and he now has 22 contracts with
several office buildings of the same type as
wells as 61 smaller contracts he's picked up from the
actual professional offices within those
buildings.

He loves it. He walks in to each office he has a
contract with and spends about 5 minutes taking care
of the plants for each account and then finds his way
back to doing the same thing on either a
biweekly or monthly basis depending on the type of
vegetation in the account.

He looks at his financial statement and realizes that
he's making a huge sum of money in his eyes,
that is over $112,000 year, just doing what he loves
on his own time, and it all started with a little
curiosity and the intention to help.

Everyday people walk by those plants and it wasn't
until the day that he walked in the door and
noticed room for improvement that anyone even took
notice of improving the care of those plants.

He does his work with pride and get's paid well for it.

And at the end of the he always seems to ask himself
"Why am I the only one doing this? Don't others
notice that there are plants in office building that
need tending to?"

He shrugs the question off and carries on living the
life of his dreams.

Do you now see that there is opportunity everywhere,
all it takes is a little curiosity, a keen eye,
and a passion to help to see it.

Are there little things that could be done better in
your business? That's your question!

When I saw the opportunity for network marketing on
the Internet and how little real training on how
to actually do it the right way I found my place.

Not by writing a book about it, but rather seeing the
value in the opportunity to explore the
possibilities. Then testing them, validating them,
and finally teaching them to others.

And now sharing those experiences with you so that
you can benefit from the road I've walked. It's
your turn for success in your network marketing
business as long as you can see it.

And if you do it's time to get to work. Stand on my
shoulders. Now is not the time to stand on the
fence. It's time to see your success and jump into
it. Here's how . . .

Success in your business will not wait for you. You
have to know it's there and get after it and never
ever look back. Here's how to get there the fast way,
the cutting edge way, the never waste your money
or your time way, the 2007 and beyond way. Go here now!

"Sometimes There IS A Pleasant Surprise Around The Corner

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

I'm on my way out to run a few errands for the day, but
wanted to leave you a note to get you going off an a
positive today.

I've received more than 249 registrant applications for
our free teleseminar on free traffic generation for
your network marketing business.

I decided to conduct this event, which will most likely
occur early next week because I was literally ashamed
to see some of the products being launched over the
past couple of weeks.

Most are nothing but hot air that cost you and me
money, so I wanted to turn the tide by offering a free
teleconference to help 100 lucky people learn what
works, how it works, and how to do it in a simple
manner without all the hype, smoke and mirrors, and
confusion.

Not to sell something, but really and truly to point a
few ambitious people in the right direction.

I was expecting nothing in return, but abundance comes
when you least expect it!

I woke up this morning to see that my business had not
grown by the average 15 people a day, but by 45 people
in the last 24 hours.

Not because of me, but because of the great team I work
with.

But to make the day even better I stumbled across a
product I had never seen before and decided to once
again take the plunge not knowing if I was going to be
met with thin air after money was exchanged.

To my surprise, the product was one of the best I've
bought in a long long time. It was fresh and innovative
and had new ideas I never would have fathomed had I not
decided to take the chance on purchasing.

Now, I'm not here to recommend that product as it's not
something I've tested as of yet, but once I do I'll let
you know about it.

Rather, I just wanted to share the idea that when you
give freely with no selfish intent, the world around
you finds a way to pay you back.

So as they say "Pay it forward"

Give a little and you never know what you might get.

What if you could learn the secret to growing your
network marketing business while you ZZZZZ. It happened
to me yesterday 45 people joined my business while I
wasn't looking, and there is no reason it can't or
won't happen to you unless you don't take action.
Here's how it all started for me, and how we do things
each and every day. Go here now for full details:

The Ultimate In Security, But At What Cost?

I just got finished listening to a new audio book
written by Donald Trump and Robert Kyosaki (The "Rich
Dad" Guy) titles "Why We Want You To Be Rich". It was
thoughtful and informative and really something that I
think you should consider picking up.

There was one portion of the audio book that rings
especially true for us as network marketers.

There was a section where they discussed the idea of
security and how it relates to business and success. It
was one of the most poignant points I've heard in some
time.

In a nutshell . . . Business is not about security
rather it's about freedom.

If you've joined your current business or you are in
the process of finding the right business for you DON'T
join for the reason of security because you won't find
it.

This is a subtle point that many miss.

Many people join a network marketing company and think
of the idea of earning a large income and falsely
equate that to security.

So what happens?

They get going, they start to follow the advice of
their sponsor, and they start to see the tough road
ahead of them.

At some point down that road they start to realize that
they are working pretty hard, but they are not making
much income. It's at this point that the questions
start to simmer up.

"Is this worth it?" "Am I really getting anywhere?"

Etc.

The answer is yes, but most miss this.

Why?

They view their network marketing business through the
eyes of an employee. They start to equate time to money
and realize that they are putting a lot in for little
return.

They start to get depressed and many eventually give
up.

It's a shame, but it happens everyday.

It's not because network marketing doesn't offer far
more than a job, but rather because they view their
business through the same mental lens as they do a job
which is, of course,wrong.

A job offers a certain sense of security. You put in
time -you get paid for that time.

If that's what you're after network marketing isn't for
you.

In fact, if security is your goal here's how to
guarantee yourself ultimate security.

Trot down to your neighborhood store and rob the place,
but make sure you get caught.

Do this and you secure your future.

You'll never have to pay for lodging and you'll never
have to worry about where money for your next meal is
coming from.

At what cost?

Jail is the ultimate in security but there is no
freedom to be found there.

This example is the extreme, but realize that the
J.O.B. world is the really no different. You give up
freedom for the security of a timely paycheck.

Network marketing on the other hand offers you freedom,
but guarantees you no security.

Which would you choose in the grand scheme?

Business and more specifically your network marketing
business is a risk and fight, but a good one.

It's to those that realize what freedom means to them
and fight on despite the initial outcome that when the
prize.

So take some time today to think about what your
business REALLY means to you.

(I know what it means to me, and it's I fight you won't
soon see me retreat from.)

What if you could live the life of your dreams? What if
money was never a question? What would that mean to
you? Now what if you could live that dream in less than
a year without ever having to pick up the phone to make
a cold again? ==> http://www.opportunity-waits.com

"The Ultimate Secret To Maximum . . . ."

Do you want to know the ultimate secret to maximum
success in network marketing?

It's not what you think, but it does tie hand in hand
with a common misconception many many network marketers
have about their business.

What's that misconception?

Most think that you can "Lock in" an income at a
certain level once you get a certain amount of momentum
going in their business.

This is right, but the idea is wrong.

That's a confusing thing to say, but let me explain it
to you . . .

It's right because once you get to a certain level in
your business you can literally create so much leverage
that no matter what you do will make more moeny than
you need.

It's wrong to think that that income is locked in.

It's NOT!

At any point in any business your business is either
growing or it's shrinking, but nothing is in actuality
ever locked in.

When you look at huge success in the industry and
outside of the industry and you examine their level of
income what you see is NOT a steady check.

That won't ever happen in your network marketing
business, rather you will still see month to month
fluxuations.

That is, income from month to month changes.

Sometimes that check goes up and sometimes the check
goes down, but once you're making $100,000 or more a
month on average a swing up or down 10% doesn't matter
much, you're expenses are more than covered.

Typically what we see as testimonials on many network
marketing websites are not static results.

That guy that gave a testimonial saying how great an
opportunity his company is along with a picture of his
$50,000 bonus check was on the upswing of things, but
over the course of time if you came back to that guy
and asked to see his check again it may be more or it
maybe less, but it's not that same amount.

On a quick side note: Isn't funny when people present
their opportunity to you that they always talk about
how awesome of an opportunity it is? When the truth is
more like, network marketing itself is an awesome
opportunity and NOT that particular company.

There are many great opportunities in network
marketing, what matters is that you see it in the one
you're in and get to work on helping others see it and
take advantage of it, but NOT just telling prospects
how awesome it is. Just a tangent . . .

Back to the point at hand:

What is important to note about your network marketing
business is NOT that you are working to lock in an
income, but rather that you are working in a situation
of unlimited opportunity.

So if you work hard your income will reach a level that
to those who see your big checks may think you've got
it made, but once you're there you know the truth,
which is next months check may be bigger or it may be
smaller and it's up what YOU do as an individual that
determines which direction that income is going to
trend.

It's not locked in though . . .

The ultimate secret to maximum success in your business
is simply this:

Your business is always growing in one direction or the
other.

There never will be a point where your income is
"locked in", so if you don't keep striving for
greatness no matter how great you may already be, you
may be seeing your business grow in the direction you
don't want it to.

The job is never done and that's what's so exciting!

Want to put yourself in a position where nothing can
stop you from massive success? I did it in less than
two years, promoting one business, growing a team of
over 5673, recruiting 398 people, earning $237,000+,
and over 37 checks month. Now it's your turn. Here's
how: ==> http://www.opportunity-waits.com

What Favourable Economics In Your Business Are Not

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you
would like to find out more check out the resource
box)

Not understanding this one key point is a major
reason why many network marketing don't make it.

So many get into their first business full of high
hopes and an open mind and are quickly given some
of the worst advice imaginable.

It happened to me.

What was that advice?

Go out there and let's get some leads so you can get
a team under you as fast as possible to cover
your costs.

This advice cost me over $7,417 over the course of
seven months, which I never recouped in any way
shape or form.

Bad advice on two points:

1. Buying leads takes a major point of control in
your business away from you as a marketer. You're
paying someone to give you leads, and you have no
control over where they come from, how they are
delivered, or how many people those leads are
distributed to. This is bad.

2. Trying to recruit your way to a situation where
your cost are covered in full is not something that
can or will happen quickly. The money you earn in
your network marketing business is cut up into 100s
of different little pieces to suit your compensation
plan. Of the money you bring into you company you
really only get a small portion of it. This is not
necessarily a bad thing, because this leverage
swings both ways. Once you have a big team under you,
those little pieces start to add up into
something significant. You're just not going to make
much money quickly trying to recruit your way to
covering your costs.

That's what most network marketers are taught is a
favourable economic situation - Recruiting your way
to the break-even point. It can happen, but only the
strong survive.

What happens to most is also what happened to me.

You spend hundred on leads and get no results. The
next month you do it again. The next month you do
it again. Etc.

Now you not only have your company's membership cost
to recoup you've also got this big advertising
debt to recoup AND to make matters worse you're
trying to do it with recruiting.

This is a situation that's literally going to take
you years if ever to recover.

It's like trying to dig a hole and every time you dig
out a scoop of dirt someone else with a shovel
twice the size of yours fills in your hole and adds
another scoop of dirt for good measure.

Now you got a little hill growing in front of you and
you started with flat ground.

You look over at your sponsor and say, "hey this
doesn't look like it's going to work."

He says "just keep digging, that how it works. If you
dig long enough and fast enough you'll make it
work."

You keep digging and that, once, flat ground is now a
full grown hill.

You look at it in disgust and realize you've only
made the problem worse. Either you did something
completely wrong or you were not told the most
effective method for handling the issue of digging a
hole.

You didn't do anything wrong.

You just used one of those yellow plastic shovels
children use at the beach when you should have used
heavy artillery!

Favourable economics occurs when you have a flow of
leads that pays for itself and will continue to
pay for itself forever NOT exclusively when you have
covered those cost with your companies check.

There is a much faster and better way to get past
that break even point in your business.

You want to attack the situation head on, here's how
. . .

What if you could learn the secret to covering the
cost of your advertising completely and actually be
in profits in your business within the next 24 hours.
Imagine never paying for a lead again, or having
to worry about where your next months advertising
budget is coming from. Now imagine having instant
access to that solution within minutes. Here's how:

3 Powerful Strategies For Recruiting On A Shoe String

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

I get asked all the time what's the best way to
generate leads and recruit people into my business on a
shoestring budget, so today we're going to review the
three most powerful ways to do just that.

1. Funded Proposal:

The best way to increase your probability of success in
your business is to turn your little budget into a much
larger one while generating leads and a profit in the
process. If you don't have much money to promote your
business then the first thing you should think about is
how to make your budget larger, not how to get by
solely on free traffic.

Why?

Free traffic is great, but to win in the end you want
to have the ability to generate traffic from as many
different places as possible and well, most high yield
advertising does cost money, so it's a reality to
understand and overcome, not try to manoeuvre around.

A funded proposal gives you the opportunity to generate
leads and have those leads pay for themselves through
the sale of the products in your marketing system.

So the most important strategy is to think about how
you can afford to pay more for advertising instead of
trying to do everything free and using a funded
proposal system is by far the most powerful way to do
this.

2. Article Marketing:

After returning from an extremely informative seminar
this weekend the power of article marketing has been
reinforced in my mind in a big way. I personally have
written some 350 plus articles that has lead to over
80,000 references to my name in Google. That's
powerful.

This past weekend I listened to the strategies of an
article marketing specialist and this method alone had
yielded him over $12,000 a month all via free traffic.

If those two things aren't proof enough that article
marketing is powerful then I don't know what is.

It's free, it's viral, and produces the highest
converting leads of all traffic sources I've tracked,
so I suggest you use this strategy and use it in a big
way.

An article a day keeps the J.O.B. away!

3. Blogging:

This one may surprise you, but blogging is not only a
powerful tool to use in your prospecting efforts, but
it's a highly targeted free traffic generator as well.

In fact I was extremely surprised to see that one of my
blogs that I use solely for prospecting and as a
meeting place for my team after checking my server
stats to this day generates over 2000 unique visitors a
month and all I do is write stuff and add it to the
blog.

Don't expect blogging to bring you big traffic today or
tomorrow, but six months down the line when you have
over 100 post or so on your blog mark my words the
search engines are going to be sending you some
significant traffic just for you having put that
content out there.

That's proof enough for me.

So that's it.

The last thing to say is this, don't think about using
just one of these methods use them all together and
you'll soon not only have high quality targeted free
traffic and leads coming your way, but you'll find you
have an ever growing marketing budget to go along with
it.

Now all that's left do is get to work!

For my exact strategies on how to use these methods for
quickest and easiest results and success I've got
everything archived in text, audio, and video format

Are You A Noun Or A Verb?

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

At the seminar that I attended I came across this
quote:

"We are for the most part nouns living a world
screaming for verbs."

[We are for the most part objects, things, in a world
in need of action.]

I thought this statement was quite profound. As I look
to most situations in my life I see this statement as
abundantly true.

I was once a part of the mainstream corporate world as
a sales rep and once I got used to that change from
school to the job world I realized that it wasn't
something that I was all that excited to be a part of.

In fact, I remember after about 6 months on the job I
got up to take a shower and all I could thank was this
was the exact same routine that I had followed to a tee
everyday for the last six months.

This shook me to the core when I thought about the
future. Was this routine all I had to look forward to
for the rest of my life?

Furthermore, I remember . . .

On my job we were even graded on a monthly basis how
well we did exactly what we were "taught" to do - down
to the very last word. (Can you say automaton?)

I thought the corporate world wanted me because I was
bright, young, and energetic, but all they wanted was
another cog in the wheel - a noun.

Well, I wasn't having any of that! (And I suspect you
have the same desire or else you wouldn't be reading
this email.)

My first encounter with network marketing was really
not too much different then my corporate life.

I was giving a task and a script to follow and I was
instructed to head out and do it to a tee.

The goal was financial freedom, but in essence the work
was no different than my corporate experience - this
didn't fit me.

Then came my current MLM.

I created my own plan, my own template for what I
needed, and then found the right business to put that
plan into action.

In fact I don't think I followed the status quo at all
or even asked my upline one question about how I should
promote my business. I simply did what I thought was
best.

I took action. In fact, I was action - the verb.

And it was from this action that success began to flow.

I'm not saying following the status quo is wrong. The
truth is most people out there do what they are told to
do, "the job mentality", and live a very descent life
for doing it.

All I'm saying is if you want to live the life you
dream of you MUST take independent action.

Do it your way and don't give up until you get there.

Would You Rather Have a Penny Or $1,000,000.00?

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

A father not far from passing away offers his two sons
a choice. He say that they can either choose $0.01 or
$1,000,000 to do as they wish with after his life has
ended.

Once they make the choice it's final. If they chose to
take the $0.01 the ailing father left instructions with
his banker to double that penny every day for the next
month. If they chose the $1,000,000.00 it was theirs to
do with as they pleased.

They were given a night to choose. One son stayed up
all night debating his choices while the other new
right off which choice to make. The morning came and
both had made a decision and were ready for their
father.

The son who had lost sleep over the choice by morning
time had found new inspiration and had a plan by the
time the daylight came around, in fact, by the time he
saw his father he was smiling from ear to ear as he
found his resolve so complete for his course of action.

Their father asked his boys . . . "What do you choose?"

The one son who had devised a plan quickly chose to
take the one million dollars and quickly got to work on
setting it into action. He called the top financial
analyst in the country and hired them at any cost to
make his money grow.

They spent a week devising the perfect plan and once
finished presented it to the son who had chosen the one
million dollars and he approved.

Next, they quickly got to work making his nest egg
grow.

Meanwhile the other son chose the other route, one cent
which doubled on a daily basis.

Two weeks later the two sons met.

The first son had his million and the second had about
$600+.

Both were excited, but once the first son found out
that his brother had chosen to take the $0.01 option he
pleaded with him to go to his father and beg him to
reconsider his foolish decision. He didn't want to see
his brother with only $600 to live on once his father
passed.

The second son refused.

29 days in, the first son who had chosen the one
million dollar option was up to one and half million
playing the stock market. All seemed well, but . . .

His financial planners fees were just over half a
million dollars, so actually he was a little in the
red.

Meanwhile his brother was up to 2.5 million dollars.

The final 3 days passed quickly.

The first son, although he had not done bad, was still
at less then a million dollars do to fees and expenses
while his brother had understood something that he
hadn't. His brother's final net worth from starting
with just $0.01 was now over ten million dollars.

His brother had understood the power of the eighth
wonder of the world.

Compound interest . . .

And flourished for it.

The lesson here is two fold.

1. In your network marketing business you leverage this
powerful principle. You start as one and over time you
grow exponentially. Half way through you may feel like
you're not as far along as you would think, but believe
me you're well on your way and you'll arrive at your
financial goals far faster than you expect as long as
you understand the rule.

2. This principle goes deeper than just your business;
it has to do with ever success or failure you create in
your life. Those results are compounded result of the
little things you do every single day be they good or
bad. Eating McDonalds today won't make you any less or
more healthy than eating a salad, but look a year later
and you'll surely see the compounded effects of each
path. One to greater health one small decision at a
time and one to bad health one small decision at a
time.

It really is the small things that make the big
differences in the long run. Don't loose site of it in
your life or in your business.

Cheat Your Way To Millionaire Status

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

Maybe you've heard this before . . .

"Look at the income of the 5 people that you hang out
with most and your income will be roughly the average
of those people."

I've heard it many times, and have done a lot of
introspection on this idea. I do believe it to be
absolutely true, but for many of us it's just not that
easy to seek out 5 highly successfully people and hang
out with them enough for their ideals to rub off.

I look at the people I hang out with most, my
girlfriend, my grandparents, and my few close friends
that live in close proximity, and when I do an income
analysis of what they make compared to myself I'm left
scratching my head.

Why?

I'm doing way better than all of them. I don't say this
to brag, but rather to try to work out why I've been
able to achieve success when I don't necessarily hang
out with hyper successful people on a daily basis.

You wanna know what I discovered?

I cheated my way to where I am. There is absolutely a
way to rub elbows with the best and brightest and have
their way of thinking rub off on you enough to make
great gains personally, health, wealth, and whatever
else.

What has allowed me to personally break away from the
pack while still spending most of time with them?

The one thing I do, that others I know surely don't is,
I listen to motivational material every single day and
it's rubbed off on me in a big way.

My iPod is packed with Jim Rohn, Les Brown, Earl
Nightingale, Zig Ziglar, Napoleon Hill, etc. You name
it and I'm listening to it on a daily basis.

It's literally a way to cheat your way to a millionaire
mindset.

Do it. Wake up each day and listen to something highly
motivational for an hour and you'll see just how little
time it will take you to start approaching those goals
you once thought were just dreams.

Finally! 100% Automated Recruiting System Free!

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

I've found it, it's what we've all been searching for
years a 100% automated prospecting and recruiting
system that generates all traffic, follows up with all
your leads and closes them into your business and it's
absolutely free. All you do is join for free and watch
the magic happen. It's truly amazing!

Yeah right . . .

Yesterday I was asked in a training call if there was a
way to totally automated marketing system for a network
marketing company. You know, set it and forget it.

A good question, and one that many of us ponder and
actively search for.

But it's something that does not and cannot exist.

Some companies will try to sell you on the idea that
there business is 100% automated all you do is get in
and watch the magic happen, but don't fall for or
you'll be extremely disappointed.

Why?

There are three things you should NEVER automate in
your business and any attempt will leave with empty
pockets.

1. Your lead generation - Do NOT outsource your lead
generation. Do NOT let someone generate leads for you
at a cost, it's just won't pan out. Lead generation in
your business is the most crucial part of your business
and should never ever be outsourced. You don't ever
want to give another person control over where your
leads come from or how you get them. It will put you at
major disadvantage.

2. Your prospecting - How you interact with your
prospects builds the foundation of trust between you
and your growing team. Give this task to another and
there is literally nothing holding your team together
except maybe money. But even in the most ideal of
situations money is not enough to keep your team
together and growing.

3. Your training - Don't let someone else train your
recruits again this process is more than just
information dissemination it's essential to creating
the tight knit relationships that hold your team
together. Do NOT let someone else do this.

It's easy to outsource everything if given the
opportunity, but in your network marketing business
it's not going to ever work in the long run. Sure there
maybe some buzz about some business that does most of
the work for you and maybe a few people that have made
a little money without doing anything, but the odds
aren't in your favour no matter how appealing the offer
sounds.

Your marketing system can be automated, but your
marketing cannot.

Remember this and don't fall prey to those who try to
give you a quick and easy solution to growing your
business. It's just not something that's going to pan
out.

Just a word to the wise . . .

How To Overcome Your Prospects Scepticism Online

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

It's a beautiful morning here in Washington DC. Spring
is definitely on the horizon here and boy am I excited
for some sunny weather.

I want to talk to you about something key to your
overall success. A topic if understood and used
persistently will surely increase your conversion rate
from prospect to sign up in your business.

If you are to set yourself apart from your competition
this is an extremely easy way to do it.

First you must understand that for the vast majority of
your prospects are highly sceptical about you and your
business and are actively looking for a way to dismiss
you as someone who's just like all those others out
there.

They all carry the attitude of "I've tried something
like this before and it didn't work, what's going to
make this go around any different?"

And well you can try to explain why you and your
business are so great, but that's what the average guy
does and so it's not so effective.

There is a better way, and it's actually easier than
spending your time trying to verbally sell your
prospect on you and your business and it's this . . .

Let your successes do the talking for you!

Here's what I mean.

In all that you do be sure to archive proof of what
sets you apart, any small minor success that you've had
is a potent weapon you can use and in fact you should
be using.

If you have people on your team that you've helped
achieve, ask them to write you a quick note about what
they think about you.

It doesn't matter if you only helped them gain one new
prospect and they're excited about it, it's just as
powerful to that sceptical prospect as someone saying
you helped them make a million dollars.

In fact it may even be more powerful because your
prospect must first bridge the mental gap between where
they are now to actually doing what you're doing and to
be honest if you flash them a statement saying you
helped someone recruit 20 people it may scare your
prospects away.

It's too big for them at the outset.

They simple need to see that what you do works and it's
easy to get started and that you're a good person that
others are excited to work with.

And well these little notes your team members pass you
are just what they want and need to see.

Third party validation is a powerful thing. Don't under
estimate it.

Instead take a couple minutes to ask your team members
to shoot you a note about why they enjoy working with
you.

And over the course of time you'll have more than a
good reason for your prospects to join you.

Now don't think that's all you can use.

Use your own success, use your own stats, take screen
shots of what's working for you and use these too.

If you don't have many on your team now, well your own
validation is what's going to be doing the lions share
of the work in showing your prospects what sets you
apart from the other guy that just tries to hype them
over the phone.

Your prospects want the truth, provide that and the
hardest part of your work is done.

What the Internet is missing is that real human touch.
People helping people is what the Internet was all
about from the beginning. Let's get back to those
roots. If you have a burning desire to succeed in your
business online and you want real live help from
someone who's been there and done that here's where to
find it.

Perry Marshall Knows More Than Google Adwords

(This is an extract from our newsletter - if you would
like to find out more check out the resource box)

Last weekend I attend a weekend long seminar in which
Perry Marshall was one of the highlight speakers. If
you've been online for any significant amount of time
and you've attempted Google Adwords as a traffic
generation strategy then no doubt you know who he is.

Until this past weekend I only thought of him as a
brilliant direct marketing guy who specialized in
Google Adwords. Today that is NOT the case.

In the closing hours of the conference Perry was on
stage and said one of THE most straight forward yet
poignant statements I've ever heard.

What was it?

"The more on track you in your entrepreneurial pursuits
the more afraid you'll be."

Simply genius.

He went on to explain that we all grow up trained for a
live as a worker bee; a life full of security and
marginal increases in pay. A life where you trade your
hours for dollars for much less than they're worth.

But once you get into business for yourself the
paradigm shifts and unless you're aware of it, just
this alone can result in you running back to the J.O.B.
shaking with fear never to be heard of again.

Why?

As an entrepreneur you're life is literally defined by
doing things that the other guy doesn't have the guts
to do and so it's a constant battle within yourself to
push past your limits.

And well your limits are what make you "feel" safe
because you're always working within a framework of
cause and effect where the effect of what you do is so
regular that you know the outcome.

For example . . .

If you get up and go to work today you know at the end
of the week you will receive a pay check for the hours
you work. You did it last week and the week before and
the result is always the same so why would you think
anything different would happen this week?

It most likely won't.

Step out of that boring existence and push your limits
and start your own business and what happens?

Who knows? Its uncharted territory as far your mind is
concerned.

The result is a constant feeling of fear and anxiety
about what's to come next. And what Perry argued in his
final words at this conference is that means your right
on track.

You know what? I agree.

I can't tell you how many times in the past two years
I've been less than sure of the outcome of my actions
and yet proceeded forward with marvellous results.

For instance the first time I paid a consultant $10,000
for a day of his time I almost thought I was crazy and
anyone I told what I had done surely did.

The result . . .

I know a lot more today than before that day and it's
added up to many multiples of that original asking
price.

A life lesson learned by me, and one I hope you have
the chance to experience one day.

The one and only thing that stops you from getting to
where you want to go is that little voice in your head
that says "I don't know if this is good idea and it's
so much money or so little certainty, Maybe I should
pass on this one."

I will tell you from experience silence that voice, it
will be hard the first time, but just like anything
else, once you've done it a few times it gets a whole
lot easier and as it does man oh man (or woman) does
your business grow.

If you gotta little fear in your heart about things
that's a great sign you're doing things right. Here's
your first step:

Can June Be Even Better Than May……?

….you bet it can so lets get June rocking guys!

Wow what a month, I don’t know where to start this update so lets start it from the top. First off I would like to congratulate some of our fastest growing team members.

To our new counsellors this month well done to you all, this is the start of an amazing journey and by achieving counsellor you have demonstrated you have learnt the skill of sponsoring and building relationships. These skills are the cornerstone of any successful network marketing business and will serve you well in building your team even further, onto Director to you all!

John Bonnett - UK
Christo George - US
Lino Chircop - Malta

We also have a new Director in our team. Michele Porretta made a goal to achieve Director in May 2007 no matter what. That focussed energy and action saw her achieve her goal with only hours remaining of the month. I never had any doubt Michele would achieve her goal. Her focus remains on helping her team achieve their goals and it is with this approach that I have no doubt she will soon be Executive Director. Michele has now mastered both the art of duplication and member retention. When you have learnt these skills you will see your team skyrocket like Michele’s has as you are using the power of leverage.

Michele Porretta – France (maybe the first French Director, we are busy checking)

Malaysia – Pre-launch

The month of May also saw our team begin advanced preparations to launch Success University in Malaysia. It was truly an honour to meet so many fantastic existing and new members and we now begin the real work of building a huge team in Malaysia.

We will be flying an international team in over the next week or two to ensure we get the Malaysian party off with a bang. We have already started assembling a very experienced Malaysian Leadership team and together we will create the fastest growing network marketing team in Success University.

June Plans

So can June be better than May, you bet it can. We kick the month of with Johnny Wimbrey in London where our UK team can get together and get things moving even faster here and in Europe.

In Malaysia and the surrounding region we will be holding a number of events including a large Launch party in Penang on 16th June. If you would like to attend or have people in the region you would like to attend let me know so I can provide more details.

We have teams in other countries who are aiming to organise large meetings that we can fly key speakers into to help build their businesses locally – I will keep you posted.

At least 2 other team members have firm goals to become Director this month and again I will do everything in my power to help them achieve that. So the question I would pose to all of you is what are your goals this month and are you truly committed to them. Make sure you send a copy to your upline sponsor and me so we can support you and keep you accountable through the month.

To your Success and a Fantastic June 2007

Malaysia - Pre Launch

Wow what an amazing week its been. I flew out to Malaysia on Thursday 24th May and its been simply incredible. I have met some of the most business focussed and hospitable people on the planet. Malaysia is truly a colourful blend of cultures and great FOOD!

Nothing happens in Malaysia unless we have some lunch or supper and when you taste some of the succulient delights you can tell why.

We are lucky to have some great people join our team and also have people who are ready to step up to the plate to help us in our main launch on 16th June. I must confess that as I went alone this time I had very little time for taking pictures. This will be different for next time so get your smiles ready as I will be taking some pictures of all the team.

However my good friend Zamri did have the forsight to bring his camera so here is the first picture posting of many!

To Our Teams Success!
